I'm really enjoying looking at this terrific website. I lost my year book years ago and I am getting a kick out of seeing everyone's graduation pictures. Just when I think I remember everyone from high school, I look at another picture and have another great memory. I hope more people get involved in this and start reaching out to each other. I have caught up with Alice Gallagher and Harriett Sandstrom in the last few weeks and am glad that I have. I found out about the loss of a great high school friend, Rae Ann, and a few others as well. I've had some great memories of the following people as well: Kool Kathy Kelly, Jackie Sloan, Margie Atkinson, Tracy Welch, Cathy and Dawn Coleman, Denise Jastrzembski, Joanne Pierce, Betty Jane Kolenkiewcz, Sue Mariano, Debbie Nobel. I'm still great friends with Cheryl Bruno (married to Dan Donohoe, also class of 80) and Eileen Macaluso (now Zawacki). I'm sure I'll be adding more names once I start looking at more pictures. |

I have a lot of fond memories of high school:
Walking to school with Alice Gallagher, Mary Cardona and I think Kelly McCade, and jumping on the gas station bell every morning to drive the owner crazy, only to find out later that it was Cheryl Bruno's dad. Thank God he got a laugh out of us.
Hanging on the roof smoking with all my friends.
Cutting out at lunch time and going to 4 Sons Pizza (I think that was the name) on Kensington Avenue for a quick bite.
Swimming on the swim team my freshman year with Cheryl, Harriett, Peggy, Barb Law, Tina Way and I think even Rae Ann?? Being coached by one of the best teachers at school, Mrs. Pedrick!
I didn't go to our 5th reunion because I didn't feel like I was gone long enough to miss anyone (I was wrong of course). Went to the 10th and had a great time. Definately looking forward to our 30th!! |
